Terrible news has come from the West. Recently there had been shadows moving, hiding, dark rumors. Our scouts returned, terrified and trembling, and told us of the great army they saw marching, composed of the foulest creatures they had ever seen. Unlike in ancient wars, each creature wore the same attire: simple but sturdy armor and a sword just as fearsome. Our enemies will be well armed and trained, it seems. We hastened to prepare. No war is a good war, but if our scouts are to be believed, this may be the last.
