Epic Armory's Warrior Pauldrons are a set of two shoulder guards with spaulders, pauldrons, and besagues. The pauldrons feature five overlapping ridged metal plates—or lames—that provide laminated protection for the upper arms. Besagues (small, round, convex metal shields) attached to the pauldrons with leather cords add additional armpit protection. The pauldrons are secured with leather straps around the biceps and shoulder blade, and attach to a cuirass and backplate. Epic Armory's breastplates and backplates can be purchased separately and come with attachments for attaching the pauldrons.
