The Dark Drake Chestplate is a large and detailed piece of armor designed to protect the torso, chest, and abdomen during your LARP combat. Made of blackened galvanized steel, it is sculpted to fit the body's shape while reinforcing the structure, and decorated with reptilian scale patterns evoking the power of dragons.
A V-shaped edge (called a "sword turner") is integrated into the base of the chest protector to deflect blows directed towards the lower torso , where the leg protectors take over. It sits securely on the hips and fastens in the back with genuine leather straps for a stable fit.
Compatible with other pieces in the Dark Drake range, this chestplate can also be integrated into any custom dark, barbarian or draconic type armor.
