The Sallet is an authentic and elegant protective helmet, inspired by 15th-century German designs. It combines functionality, comfort, and aesthetics thanks to a finely crafted mobile visor that perfectly conforms to the face while ensuring optimal ventilation via small ventilation holes.
Its hinge decorated with floral motifs allows the visor to be easily raised, offering better visibility or the option to reveal the face as needed. The forehead is reinforced by a robust ornamental plate that provides both strength and elegance. At the back, an articulated neck plate, of the lobster-tail type, effectively protects the head while ensuring great freedom of movement.
The helmet is held securely by a leather strap under the chin, ensuring a safe fit during your activities. Constructed from 1 mm thick mild steel and equipped with full-grain leather straps and buckles, the Sallet is designed to withstand the demands of live-action role-playing (LARP) and historical reenactments, while giving you the look of an elite soldier of the Holy Roman Empire.
